For the best and most up-to-date connection, check the SBB app regularly. Enter "Lenzerheide/Lai Post" as your destination.
Alternatively, you can reach us as follows:
Basel/Bern – Zurich – Chur – Lenzerheide Post
Direct connections by IR/IC/EC/TGV from Basel, Zurich, St. Gallen, Hamburg, Brussels and Paris (on Saturdays in winter) as far as Chur. When you arrive by train in Chur, you walk along a covered path leading from the end of the SBB railway platform (in the direction of travel) to the post bus stop, where you change to the post bus. Take the post bus directly to the Lenzerheide/Lai Post stop (journey time: 42 minutes). If you let us know in advance, we are happy to pick you up in the hotel shuttle bus. Alternatively you can reach the Sunstar Hotel Lenzerheide on foot in 5 minutes.
Lugano – Bellinzona – Chur – Lenzerheide Post
Direct post bus service from Bellinzona to Chur. Then take the post bus (B182) directly to the Lenzerheide/Lai Post stop (journey time: 42 minutes). If you let us know in advance, we are happy to pick you up in the hotel shuttle bus. Alternatively you can reach the Sunstar Hotel Lenzerheide on foot in 5 minutes.

You can reach us by car as follows:
From Bern/Basel – Zurich
Take the A1/A3-A13 motorway as far as the Chur-Süd/Lenzerheide exit. After driving along the regional road for 15 km, you reach first the lake and then the village of Lenzerheide/Lai. At the entrance to the village (before the Jäggi watch shop and Aurora bakery), turn right into the Voa Sporz (signposted). Follow the road for about 200 m, then the Sunstar Hotel is on the right.
From Lugano – Bellinzona – San Bernardino
Take the A13/E43 motorway as far as the Thusis-Süd exit. Drive from Thusis via Tiefencastel about 20 km to Lenzerheide/Lai. At the end of the village, after the Jäggi watch shop and Aurora bakery, turn left (signposted). Follow the road for about 200 m, then the Sunstar Hotel is on the right.

We have indoor and outdoor parking spaces, for both of which a charge is made. We can also offer off-site spaces in the municipal car park. Please tell us your preference when you book.

There are two charging stations for electric vehicles in our garage, including one TESLA Destination charger. Charging your car is free of charge, but a charge is made for booking the indoor parking space in order to do so.

Your room will be available from 4 pm on your day of arrival. If you would like to arrive earlier, you are welcome to park at the hotel (subject to availability) and explore the area. We are happy to store your luggage free of charge. Depending on availability, you may be able to occupy your room earlier on payment of a small supplement. Just contact us. Our Reception desk is staffed until 10.30 pm. If you are going to arrive after 6 pm, please let us know in advance.
Simple check-in is also possible at our terminal.

On your date of departure, please vacate your room by 11 am at the latest. A later check-out can be booked for a small supplement, subject to availability. Please contact Reception. If you would like to check out and then spend the day in Lenzerheide, please park your car in a public car park because we only have limited parking spaces. We are happy to store your luggage free of charge.
A simple check-out is also possible at our terminal.
Food and drink

A healthy breakfast buffet awaits you, the perfect start to your day: different kinds of bread, a number of muesli varieties, various egg dishes, fruit, a selection of regional and national cheeses and a range of sausage and cold meats. Along with, of course, all kinds of coffee, fresh fruit juices and fine teas. The buffet and drinks selection also include gluten- and lactose-free options.
For a supplement of CHF 10 per order, you can also enjoy breakfast in your room. Please tell us by 6 pm on the previous evening at the latest if you require this service.

Our two restaurants, Stoiva and Stübli, are open every day. In the evening, the Chämi Bar is also a pleasant place to spend some time. You can see the delicious selection of snacks and drinks here.

Both restaurants offer vegetarian dishes and other options. For vegan food, please let Reception know in advance.

We are happy to cater for your individual needs and conjure up some suitable treats for your taste buds. Just let us know about your food intolerances when you book.
Infrastructure & amenities

In both summer and winter, the local sports bus will take you free of charge from the hotel to the valley stations for Val Sporz and the Rothornbahn in Lenzerheide.

The hotel could not be more centrally located. It takes just 15 minutes to walk via the squirrel forest to the beautiful Lake Heid. The Val Sporz valley station is only 10 minutes’ walk away. Walking to the Rothornbahn valley station takes about 20 minutes.

In our Stoiva and Stübli restaurants, you’ll find a range of seasonal and international dishes. Delicious cocktails and aperitifs are served in the Chämi Bar in the evening. Our spacious terrace is an inviting place to relax in the sunshine.

We are equipped with a storage room, workshop, washing station, laundry service and charging station for you and your bike.
Nor will cross-country and downhill skiers want for anything. There’s a lockable ski room with heated boot warmers, ski waxing facilities, a workshop and a laundry service.

All rooms have a flat screen TV, coffee machine, radio, telephone, minibar, safe, toilet and hairdryer. Other features depend on the room category. Click here to see our range of rooms.

The hotel is in a brilliantly central location. The cross-country track passes directly by our hotel and various valley stations are within easy reach on foot and/or by using the free local sports bus. You can also set off on numerous mountain bike routes just outside the hotel’s front door. We look forward to sharing our tips and tricks with you when you arrive, for all kinds of summer and winter sports activities. We know all about the footpaths, biking routes, cross-country tracks and ski slopes and are happy to advise you.

Our entrance lobby and the Restaurant Stoiva are on the ground floor and easily accessible even for the disabled. The rest of the hotel is not entirely accessible and we have no rooms that are ideal for people with a disability. However, please contact us and discuss your needs with us, so that we can tell you about the best option.
